Interstate 70 was closed at Glenwood Canyon in both directions between Dotsero and Glenwood Springs because a semi-truck was hanging off the side of the highway. The accident happened this Monday at 12:18 pm.

Colorado State Patrol Sergeant Troy Kessler stated that the accident was reported by the Colorado Department of Transportation, but the crash happened earlier around 11:14 am.

Colorado DOT cameras showed that the semi-truck with the tractor unit hanging on one side of the highway while the rest of the track was on the other side of the road and blocked both directions of the highway.

CDOT stated that the eastbound I-70 was reopened within a few hours.
