Authorities in Texas report a truck driver who lost control of his vehicle in downtown Grand Prairie on Thursday morning is supposed to be okay.
The incident happened at the intersection of Main Street and Northeast 2nd Street in Grand Prairie at about 10 a.m. on Thursday.
According to police, the truck driver had a medical emergency and passed out, causing his rig to veer off the road and crash with several parked cars and light poles.
Security video from A&M Barber Studio, a nearby store, reveals how close the truck came to colliding with the house, which was open for business and had customers and employees inside.
The truck driver was admitted to the hospital and then discharged after receiving surgery. Nobody else was hurt.
